As it gets closer to Valentine’s Day, the anniversary of Lylah’s parents’ death begins to approach. She wants nothing more than to move on and forget about the last two years. Lylah lives in a house, near her college, with five of her roommates; Chase, Sonny, Charlotte, Sienna, and Isaac. They all end up developing really close bonds. Lylah is hoping for Chase, her love interest, to make a move on her by the big day. But that hope quickly changes when one by one, each one of her roommates, begins to receive individual, personalized notes. At first, they think it’s just a silly prank but, as each roommate receives a note, less than twenty-four hours later, they get murdered. Everyone is determined to find out who the killer is but it's more difficult than it seems. Nobody expects the outcome of who the killer is.
If you are a fan of thriller or suspenseful books, I would definitely recommend to you, You Will Be Mine. I was at the edge of my seat after each chapter. This book goes into depth about how each murder scene is found, so if you are uncomfortable with descriptions of crime/murder scenes, I would not recommend to you this book. I personally am not a fan of thriller’s but this book did not once lose my interest.
9/10: very suspenseful
