Review:

Ignite Me by Tahereh Mafi is an exhilarating and deeply emotional third installment in the Shatter Me series and has quickly become one of my favorite books ever. The novel begins right after the events of Unravel Me, with Juliette finally embracing her newfound strength to its full potential and filled with determination toward overthrowing the Reestablishment. As she assumes a leadership role within the resistance, she faces formidable opponents, such as the ruthless and cruel Supreme Commander, Aaron Warner's father. One of the most prominent aspects of the novel is the development of Juliette's character. Throughout the series, we are provided with an inside look into the inner workings of Juliette's mind, and Tahereh Mafi beautifully portrays her profound character growth from an isolated, turbulent, and fragile girl to a resilient, empowered, and unbelievably intelligent young woman. Juliette's inspiring journey of self-discovery is both poignant and captivating. As she learns to harness her abilities and stand strong against the Reestablishment, I rooted for her from beginning to end. Additionally, the romance in Ignite Me is entirely enchanting, and we are finally given a decision between the two men. Juliette confronts her feelings for Warner and Adam and navigates through the emotional complexities of love, desire, and heartache, filling the narrative with depth. I couldn't get over how entrancingly poetic Tahereh Mafi's writing style was, and I fell in love with the romance and emotional depth of the series. Overall, this action-packed novel filled with romance, humor, character development, and intricate emotion was truly unforgettable, and I would recommend this series to anyone.
