Review:

It Ends with Us is a romance book about a girl named Lily Bloom and how she gets into an abusive relationship. This book has a lot of sensitive subjects that some people should know about before reading this book. For example, the book deals with abuse, sexual assault, and violence.

Now for my actual review. I give this book 4/5 stars. I really enjoyed this book because it was very entertaining, and Colleen Hoover’s writing is very easy to read. The book goes back and forth between two time periods: when Lily was 16 and her father abused her mother, and when Lily is in her twenties and she is in a relationship with Ryle Kincaid, an abusive boyfriend.

This book has a very good plot and describes the main characters very well. I have to say my favorite character in the whole book is Ryle’s sister, Allysa Kincaid. She is such a good friend to Lily even though her brother Ryle is Lily's abusive boyfriend. Another thing I really liked about this book is Atlas Corrigan, Lily's childhood friend and first boyfriend. No matter the situation, Atlas makes sure Lily is okay. You just know he really loves her. The only part of the book I did not really like is how Colleen Hoover describes Atlas. It makes him almost seem like the bad guy when really Ryle is. But, of course, that is my opinion.
