Review:

The Fault in Our Stars by John Green is about a girl named Hazel who was diagnosed with cancer when she was a child. Hazel starts to go to a support group for people who also have cancer, and Hazel meets people who later on become her friends. Her friends add a certain light to her life, making her enjoy things more and pushing her limits so as not to let cancer stop her from doing certain things in life. The short version is The Fault in Our Stars makes the reader know how it feels for people who have cancer and the struggles they have to endure. It teaches the reader to have an open mind for the people who suffer from cancer.

The Fault in Our Stars made me feel so many emotions at the same time, which is crazy. When I picked this book, I was very unsure about it because I love action, which is something very different from this book. But I’m glad I took this risk. It is good to try something different. The book is not all about romance, and it is good to take risks sometimes to see if you are going to like something. You never know if you hate or like something unless you try it.

If you are into romance, then you hit the jackpot! But I must warn you, The Fault in Our Stars is a very sad novel for being a romantic novel. I would definitely recommend this book! Go take a risk.
