Review:

Rosebud. This is the final word spoken by the immensely influential celebrity, politician, and owner of the New York Daily Inquirer. Moments before he collapses, this singular word erupts from his lips. A nurse soon rushes in, and it is reported that Charles Foster Kane is dead. The world is shocked by his passing, which has huge ramifications on the world after he’s gone.

To understand the meaning of Kane’s mysterious word would be an amazing scoop for reporters and be immensely valuable information, and they flock to uncover the meaning of his last word. They begin to uncover the past wives of Kane, his past endeavors, and his childhood. As the reporters begin to uncover the history of his youth and his rise from obscurity into history, the film details how Kane rose to power through his acquiring the rights to the New York Daily Inquirer. As the movie goes on, the audience goes further and further within the depths of the mind of Charles Foster Kane. The reporters continuously search for the meaning of "Rosebud." Will the reporters truly uncover the meaning of this word, or will it forever remain a mystery?
