The library is open. Please check our locations page for specific branch closures and/or updated hours.
We are grateful for the words of solidarity and offers of support we've received from library lovers worldwide. The Library Foundation of Los Angeles is accepting donations to address evolving needs in response to the fires.
While we appreciate the many offers of donations, we're not currently able to accept book donations. Find more ways to support the library at lapl.org/get-involved.
