Digital Inclusion Week is an annual campaign to bring attention to the need for digital equity in our communities. The library is committed to helping bridge the digital divide by providing resources and access to technology year-round. We provide internet access and computers for public use at all 73 library locations, lend a variety of technology items through our Tech2go program, and offer digital literacy classes for all age groups and skill levels.
Technology at the Library
Computer and Internet Access
957 computer workstations connected to the internet. The more than 7 million sessions recorded are evidence of the need for access in our communities.
Mobile Hotspots
Part of Tech2go, this program provides internet access to families that lack this necessary service at home. Devices are small and portable and available to all ages at no cost for a 6-week period.
Chromebooks
Chromebooks are available for checkout for six months. Please note that these do not include a mobile hotspot and come with just the Chromebook and charger.
Digital Inclusion Week is a nationwide effort to bring awareness to the digital inequities present in our society. Throughout the week of October 7-11, organizations across the nation will participate in offering programs and events that highlight digital inclusion needs and work to bring awareness of our digital divide.
